Edward Plumer
Edward Plumer was one of the great bell founders of the early 18th century. He lived in Ramsbury near Aldbourne in Wiltshire, England. I found this bell in an antique shop in Hungerford. I got John Taylor, the Loughborough bell foundry, to fit a new leather handle. They sought my agreement to display this at a handbell exhibition in Glasgow a few years ago. It has a beautiful silvery grey colour.
