World Cup bells

I was at Wembley on that glorious day of 30th July 1966 when England won the football world cup. Along with other supporters, I was ecstatic for days afterwards. When I think about it, I still am! It was just as thrilling to see England win the 2003 rugby world cup after Jonny Wilkinson slotted that last minute drop goal. Two pictures hang in my study which commemorate these great English triumphs. So it seemed natural to have two bells made which will be a long lasting reminder of these events for future generations.

The bells are made in bronze and come from Lowes bells. Their diameters are 8 inches.

The inscriptions are:

Football World Cup

Rugby World Cup
